I recently entered a film making competition with some friends. It was run by Apple in conjunction with the film making society in Cambridge.

We were given something we had to include in our opening shot (in this case a particular clock) and then given 24 hours in which to script, shoot and edit our film.

We went one step further and got a friend to score it for us as well.

Although we didn't win we really enjoyed making it and we got across exactly what we meant to. On that note, a judge told us that our film was too "vague", however, I'm sure that was only to be expected as most of the team were philosophers!
